The universal lighting dimmer allows you to adjust the brightness of the lighting.

Purpose
The SCO-816A universal dimmer is designed to regulate the brightness of dimmable high power sources, such as: incandescent and halogen lamps, toroidal transformers and regulated electronic transformers, dimmable LED bulbs and dimmable energy-saving LED lamps.

Functioning
The lighting is switched on and off after a short press of the button connected to the ON / OFF control input. The brightness level will depend on the voltage value
control given on the analog input AIN. The relationship between the value of the control voltage and the output voltage on lighting circuits is shown in the following characteristics:

The SCO-816A dimmer is additionally equipped with:
- soft light switching on and off;
- Thermal protection;
- current overload control;
- built-in 20 A slow blow fuse;
- possibility of connecting the ON / OFF button controlled by 230 V AC mains voltage or low DC voltage.

The actual load limit will depend on the ambient temperature.
If the operating temperature exceeds the limit value then the permissible value the load is reduced.

3500W - resistance load: incandescent and halogen lamps.
2300W - inductive and capacitive load: toroidal transformers, adjustable electronic transformers, dimmable LED and ESL lamps.
