Phase monitoring relays

Phase sequence and phase loss sensors (relays) are designed to protect electric motors powered from a three-phase network. The sequence and phase failure relay detects events that may result in damage to the motor, such as a voltage failure in one or more phases or the occurrence of voltage imbalance between phases. Phase sequence relays also detect incorrect phase sequence of the power supply, thus preventing the motor from rotating in the wrong direction.

The phase sequence and phase loss sensor is designed to protect electric motors and other equipment powered by a three-phase mains supply. The sensor will activate if the voltage on one or more phases falls below a set minimum value or exceeds a set maximum value. The CKF-320-TRMS also monitors the phase sequence of the supply, preventing the motor from rotating in the wrong direction.
