A bistable relay allows lighting to be switched on using more than one monostable button. A bistable time relay is ideal for switching on lighting in corridors or other passageways, i.e. places where we often forget to switch off the lights. A short press of the button switches on the lighting for a set time. A longer press switches on the light permanently.
