Smoke detector CDM-07

Purpose

Equipped with an advanced optical sensor, it effectively responds to the presence of smoke with a loud audible and light alarm. With its compact housing and easy installation, it is ideal for installation in domestic environments.

The detector is not intended to be used in commercial or industrial premises as a control device for assessing compliance with the applicable standards.

The manufacturer will not be held liable for damage resulting from inappropriate or improper use.

The mechanical design of the detector protects against tampering by unauthorised persons. The high quality of the product is certified in accordance with EN14604:2005/AC1:2008.

The detector is designed to detect smoke, not to detect carbon monoxide or other gases.

Alarm procedure

In the event that the acceptable level of smoke is exceeded in the vicinity of the detector, an acoustic and light alarm will be reported. In such an event you should:

• Locate the smoke/fire origin.
• Extinguish the source of the flame. In the event of a larger hazard, notify the appropriate services immediately.
• Open doors and windows to remove the smoke.
• Leave the affected room.

The detector alarm will automatically switch off when the smoke concentration falls to a safe level.
