Why choose the MR-AI-1?

The MR-AI-1 expands the control system with four analogue input channels. Each of these can be configured to read either a voltage or current signal, and the input values are made available via RS-485 in accordance with the Modbus RTU protocol.

What does this mean in practice?

  • The module has 4 universal analogue inputs.
  • Each channel can be configured as a 0–10 V voltage input or a 4–20 mA current input.
  • The technical measurement range of the current channel is 0–20 mA.
  • The communication interface is RS-485, and data is exchanged in accordance with the Modbus RTU protocol.
  • The module can be used to expand the analogue inputs of PLCs or other devices communicating via Modbus RTU.

Reset communication settings
A DIP switch is located beneath the module’s front panel.
