The FOX system is a simple control system for basic home functions. UsingWi-Fi, we can turn lights on and off and adjust their brightness. We can open and close entrance gates, garage doors and wickets. We can control the operation of roller blinds, shutters, awnings and electrically operated curtains. I have installed FOX relays. I can see the devices in the application. Is that enough to control my home using voice commands? Unfortunately, it is not enough. First, you need to enable voice control for the devices in the application. This means that you can only controlselected devicesin your home with your voice. The next step is to install the Google Home app. We integrate the devices indicated in the FOX app with the Google Home app. We create a location or locations, and similarly group devices for operation. At this point, we can already control our home with a smartphone using Google Home. We are only one step away from voice control. Install Google Assistant. Once configured, your home devices are within voice range.
Voice control of your home requires some practice, but you do not need to memorise the correct commands.The advantage of Google Assistant is that it communicates in Polish and responds to different commands for the same action.
