Miniature 4-channel WiFi transmitter for installation in a junction box
Wi-Fi input module for building automation – device description
The device supports four independent digital inputs powered by mains voltage and allows control of Fox receivers operating in the same local network. Thanks to scene support and network communication, the module acts as a universal event controller in smart home installations and BMS systems.
Features and functionalitiesofthe
control moduleThe device has been designed for professional applications where reliable communication and extensive integration capabilities are required. The module supports four AC digital inputs, allowing actions to be assigned to pressing, releasing and long pressing a button.
The built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi communication interface (IEEE 802.11n) allows direct cooperation with executive devices and master systems via REST API and MQTT, enabling integration with automation platforms, including building management systems and smart home solutions.
The scene function allows simultaneous control of up to 16 receivers (for each scene), and the sequential mode allows different scenes to be called up by pressing the same button repeatedly. Its small dimensions (35×36×19 mm) allow it to be installed in a standard Ø60 mm flush-mounted box, leaving plenty of space for cables, which facilitates integration with existing electrical installations. The module has low power consumption (<1.2 W) and is designed to operate in environmental conditions typical for indoor installations (IP20).
Application in smart home and BMS systems
The Wi-Fi input module is used in smart home installations, commercial automation and IoT systems requiring a reliable input interface. It can be used to control lighting, blinds, comfort scenes, multimedia systems and energy management functions.
Thanks to its support for integration protocols (e.g. REST API, MQTT), the device works well as a control infrastructure element in distributed automation systems where central event processing and flexible control logic are required. The module is an effective solution for installers, system integrators and building automation designers looking for a compact and scalable input controller.
