Analog curent converter AC-1I 15 A

MAX-AC-1I-15A, 5908312595250

Analogue current transducer
.
Current (4–20 mA).
Single-phase 15 A AC / 20 A DC.
Direct measurement.

What is a current transducer used for?

The AC-1I 15 A current transducer is used to measure alternating or direct current. It converts the measured value into a standardised analogue current output signal in the range of 4–20 mA.

How does the AC-1I 15 A current transducer work?

The current transducer continuously measures the current flowing through the ‘Iin’ measurement input. The measured value is proportionally converted to a DC current output signal “Iout” within the range of 4–20 mA.

The transducer measures the TrueRMS value of the current. This ensures high measurement accuracy even with distorted waveforms.
The module’s signal output is protected by an anti-interference filter. The filter eliminates mains interference that affects the accuracy of the transmitted signal. This allows signal cables up to 300 m in length to be used.
